Here's a time-lapse web cam pointed at Nassau road in my front yard. Stop on by and see what's going on when everyone's at work! You can watch the whole day in just a minute or two. Or drag the slider to make time go by even quicker.

Technical Details The Nassau Cam is plugged into a hoary old Mac 7600 upgraded to a 300MHz G3 processor with 112Mb memory, running OS 10.1.5. It's got a 2Gb SCSI1 drive, as well as a second 8Gb SCSI2 hard drive. The camera is a 5 year old composite video x10 camera, plugged into a Dazzle video-DV bridge. The DV bridge is plugged into a combo firewire/usb2 Orange PCI card. The software is Evological's EvoCam v3.4, which runs under OS X and also OS 8 & 9. The EvoCam software handles time-lapse movies quite elegantly, and even supports multiple cameras.
